Increasing Access to Agricultural Inputs

In Amhara, Ethiopia, Farm Africa’s Market Systems project, funded by Sida, has improved smallholder farmers’ access to key inputs such as fertilisers and pest control products by establishing a local agri-business industry to provide both quality products and technical expertise. With support from these local agri-dealers, farmers are now able to apply the right products, at the right dose, to the right crops, at the right time, increasing productivity and reducing risk of crop failures.
