Empowering women in eastern Africa

While women and girls provide much of the labour in rural communities, they have less access to land, finance, agricultural extension services and technology than men. Farm Africa provides economic opportunities, such as training on technical and business skills and crop production, which enable women to earn their own money and contribute equally to household financial decisions.
