Jane chairs Farm Africa’s Kenya Board and sits on Farm Africa UK’s Board.
Jane chairs the Warehouse Receipt Systems Council, is Vice Chair of the Agriculture Sector Network and is a non-executive board member of a large bank in Kenya. She spearheaded the establishment of the Kenya Horticultural Council, was CEO of the Kenya Flower Council; served as Deputy Coordinator of the Green Belt Movement and founded Biosystems Quality Management Consultancy. Prior to that she was a civil servant at the Kenya Bureau of Standards and the Kenya Trypanosomiasis Research Institute.

Mary Nyale

Mary became Farm Africa’s Country Director in 2023, after extensive professional growth within Farm Africa since joining the organisation in 2015.
Mary is highly skilled in project management, negotiation and developing sustainable agricultural value chains and community livelihoods. She has provided programmatic leadership at Farm Africa, acting as a representative for Farm Africa to government, donors, private sector partners, and other NGOs. She previously worked as a Field Manager for Fintrac Inc coordinating a USAID-funded project across 12 counties in the Western, Nyanza and North Rift regions of Kenya.

Geoffrey Nyamota
Geoffrey has over 20 years of hands-on experience in training, designing and implementing inclusive market-led initiatives for private and international NGOs in Africa and Asia.
He holds a PhD in Business, majoring in Organisational Leadership from Pan Africa Christian University, a Master of Business Administration specialising in Project Planning and Management from Bugema University and a Bachelor of Science Horticulture from Egerton University. Geoffrey has been a member of the Farm Africa Board since 2022 and worked as the head of market engagement in the organisation. He currently works as the Country Director of iDE, has served in leadership positions at Bountifield International, CRS, SCOPEinsight, Fintrac Inc and managed USAID projects in Kenya.

Rahma Jillo
Rahma is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and a fellow of the International Center for Not-for-Profit Law (ICNL), with over 15 years of experience in Commercial, Real Estate, Competition, Telecommunication and Not for Profit Law.
She holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Masters of Laws (LLM) in Banking and Financial Services Law from the University of Nairobi. Rahma sits as a board member on various boards of international and national non-governmental organisations, was a member of the Cooperative Tribunal and an ad hoc member of the Political Parties Dispute Tribunal, hence gaining immense experience in identification of contentious issues and their determination.
